Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome by our guide and transfer to your hotel. The transfer distance is approximately 40 minutes.
Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia.
Afternoon , start a half day city tour beginning with outside of the Ho Chi Minh Complex, explore Ba Dinh Square, an important point of pilgrimage for many Vietnamese, the Presidential Palace, and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.

After arrival to Sapa
You will have lunch at local restaurant then check in hotel and take a short rest.
Afternoon, Take a short car ride just 3 km out of Sapa to Cat Cat village inhabited by a community of Hmong ethnic minority people. The village is known as a cultural site since many traditions and customs of the Black Hmong are still preserved to date. The traditional trades of brocade making and silver and bronze smith are still practiced nowadays by villagers after numerous generations of their ancestors. You can see the Hmong women by their looms weaving fabrics, which will be later on dyed with sap from leaves for the desired coloration. Your walk through the village will take you to Tien Sa waterfall (Silver Waterfall) where a French-built hydropower station has been in service since 1920.

After breakfast at hotel, you’re picked up then transfer from Sapa town to Fansipan cable car station. Visit Fansipan Mountain by the cable car. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. You will have free time to take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top.
Afternoon, transfer about 30 minutes to Silver Waterfall. The fall, drops from an altitude of 200 meters, is the upstream of Muong Hoa stream. Take a short walk to the waterfall where you can get great views of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of the Hoang Lien Son National Park. The waterfall is best seen in the rainy season from May to November. Continue 10 minutes by car to Heaven Gate, located at the highest point of Tram Ton Pass. At 1900m this is Vietnam’s highest mountain pass, and acts as a dividing line between two weather fronts. From Heaven Gate, you’ll fantastic views of Hoang Lien Son mountain range, and Fansipan Mountain, dubbed as the roof of Indochina at the height of 3,143 meters above sea level. Optional tour: The Sapa Glass Bridge – 20 usd/pax
Transfer to The Sapa Glass Bridge (also called Cau Kinh Rong May which means Dragon in Cloud Glass Bridge) is located at O Quy Ho Pass which is only about 17km from Sapa town center. At the moment, Sapa Glass Bridge is the longest Glass Bridge in Indochina. This bridge is not so big, only 60m long and 5m wide, however, at the height of more than 2000m above the sea level, the view from Sapa Glass Bridge is absolutely stunning! Besides, the Glass Bridge is about 60m far from the cliff bringing the 360o panorama view to the guests.

Late afternoon, visit Hanoi 36 Old Quarter streets for discovery and shopping, Hang Gai, Hang Dao, Hang Ngang, etc. with hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils … and shopping at local famous Dong Xuan market, take a short time to visit Hoan Kiem Lake (The Returned Sword Lake whose name comes from a legend of a sacred sword) at sunset.
